The Boot & Shoe hosts some of the best live music in Cumbria, every Sunday.
Rumours are a four piece blues band and have been playing in the area for about 16 years.They have also played the Colne Blues Festival where we were described in the Roadhouse section as ‘one for the musos’ they cover classic Rhythm & Blues numbers with skill and style.
One of our favourite nights of the year we always have a packed house of wonderful people all coming together to sing Carols and celebrate the start of the Christmas Season mulled wine and mince pies.
We all know who they are now, Chris, Colin and Paul playing together as Chance we loved them before and we love them now. A great ROCK band with some smoking blues
In the authentic tradition of Muddy Waters, Ethan Thomas leads the raw and earthy Checkerboard Lounge in an irresistible feast of rhythm and blues with Martin McDonald on guitar, Rod Mackay on bass and Lee “the beat” Barnham on drums.
