Live Music with ‘Rumours’

The Rumours. A four piece blues band who have been playing in the area for about 17 years. They have played the Colne Blues Festival where they were described in the Roadhouse section as ‘one for the musos’.  Covering classic Rhythm & Blues numbers with a certain amount of skill and style. An entertaining band through and through, with two guitars and bass, plus drums and three singers all with their own style. Live Music with Rumours

The Rumours are a four piece blues band and have been playing in the area for about 16 years. They have also played the Colne Blues Festival where we were described in the Roadhouse section as ‘one for the musos’ which we took as a compliment because we aim to cover classic Rhythm & Blues numbers with a certain amount of skill and style. They feature an entertaining bass player – a rather natty Malaysian guy with great style. Two guitars and bass plus drums – three of them take turns at singing and they each have different styles. They have played at The Boot and Shoe Inn many times before and always gone down well.
